HARRISBURG, Pa. ? Two jurors in Pennsylvania's government corruption case say their unanimous guilty verdicts reflect the strength of the prosecution's case.
The jury Tuesday convicted former Rep. Brett Feese, a onetime House Republican Campaign Committee chairman, and his one-time aide, Jill Seaman, of all 80 criminal counts against them.
The case involved the illegal use of millions of taxpayer dollars for political purposes.
One of the 12 jurors, 23-year-old Megan Buller of Harrisburg, told The Associated Press that understanding the complex case required a steep learning curve. She described how the jurors methodically weighed the evidence against the charges before reaching their unanimous verdicts.
Another juror, 41-year-old Lanthus Whiteside, says jurors took their time to make sure they asked the right questions and made the right decisions.
