with my Good Morning Girls group. I thought I would continue to share my daily readings and SOAP observations. Here is the reading schedule, if you would like to follow along. Today's verse is from week 11 Thursday.
Scripture
Daniel 11:32, By smooth words he will turn to godlessness those who act wickedly toward the covenant, but the people who know their God will display strength and take action.
Observation
They were allowing others to influence them.
They were listening to others words.
Application
Know God.
Know the Word.
Don't listen to what others are telling you. Don't we all do this? We can be so easily enticed into following something we know is wrong.
I can do this with the computer. I know that my time and efforts need to be in other places, but I can feel drawn back to this machine.
Prayer:
Dear God: I pray that I can know you and follow you. I should not allow distractions pull me from Your mission for me. Allow me to think before I make a decision and pray for your guidance. Amen
