September 2 Remember Results ? Sacramento Wrestling Federation

Tuesday, October 11, 2011

We?d first like to take a moment to thank the Fengel family for allowing us to assist in this very important cause. The SWF was proud to assist in this event and the entire roster brought their A-game for the 2nd night of our 2 night September 2 Remember event.

Just as the night before, the crowd was hot and ready for action. We are proud to say the SWF delivered!

The Playboy Buddies vs. The Cold Cash Crew

The event got on its way and ?Jungle Love? played through the P.A. system. The Playboy Buddies (?The Riv? and Levi Shapiro) made their tag team debut in the SWF. These two men have both appeared on SWF events in the past, but they are recognized throughout California as one of the most exciting up and coming tag teams in sports-entertainment today. However, they would have their work cut out for them as the Cold Cash Crew had promised to reveal a new member that would change the face of the SWF.

ECW original Mustafa Saed and the Hustler walked through the curtain. It didn?t take long for them to express their disdain for the Carmichael crowd. Saed grabbed the mic from SWF announcer Johnny Johnson and began to run down those in attendance. He then said that they had a little surprise for the ?Buddies,? the newest member of the Cold Cash Crew, Damien Grundy.

?You could hear the collective gasp as Grundy walked through the curtain. It was clear from the second he walked out onto the stage that he was a force to be reckoned with. As the bell rang, the Playboy Buddies gained some momentum. That is until Grundy was tagged in.

?

Damien Grundy used his power to gain an advantage over the Riv and Shapiro, but they battled back and were actually able to get the big man off his feet. Unfortunately the power of Grundy and the experience of Hustler were just too much for the Buddies. The Cold Cash Crew was able to spoil their SWF debut and score the pin at the 10 minute mark. After the match Saed and the Crew took the opportunity to pose to the crowd as they walked up the ramp.

?

Aaron Solo vs. ?Double D? Dave Dutra

The crowd, still hot from the first match, was begging for more and the next match got underway. This would be the SWF debut of two competitors. The first, Aaron Solo, is a relative new comer to sports-entertainment, and has already received high praise throughout the industry. The other, made his presence felt the night before at the Sacramento 6 Drive In. Dave Dutra has been on the top of Josh Edlow?s list for months as a top prospect for the SWF roster. Dutra gave Edlow his answer as he interfered in ?Big Country? Jody Kristofferson?s match against Will Rood. Now Dutra would go one on one against solo.

The action was fast and furious as these two had what many thought was the match of the night. Each superstar wanted to make an impression on the SWF faithful. Dutra and Solo went back and forth, each getting near falls and matching each other move for move. Finally, Aaron Solo took a calculated risk and climbed to the top rope.

Dutra tried to stop him, but Solo was able to counter Dutra?s maneuver which resulted in Dutra on the mat with Solo perched on the top rope. Solo flew through the air only to have Dutra raise his knees at the last minute. Solo was left writhing in pain. Dutra capitalized with vicious DDT for the win at the 11 minute mark.

After the match, SWF announced Johnny Johnson took the chance to speak with ?Double D.? He asked the question that everyone was dying to know?why? Why did he interfere in the match between Jody Kristofferson and Will Rood? Dutra responded and explained that he and Kristofferson had trained together, that he graduated before Kristofferson and that he was a better performer than Kristofferson, yet somehow, Kristofferson is always in the main event while Dutra is not.

In the midst of his rant, ?Big Country? Jody Kristofferson interrupted him and walked through the curtain. The crowd went nuts and it was clear that Kristofferson is one of the SWF?s clear fan favorites. Kristofferson told Dutra that he deserves everything he has gotten and that he eats, sleeps and breaths sports-entertainment.

Dutra interjected and told Kristofferson that the only reason he is in the main event is because of his relationship with his father, Kris Kristofferson. Jody, then told Dutra that while he wasn?t finished with him, he had to focus on his match with Dylan Drake. He then gave him a warning and told him that if Dutra got involved in his match that night, he would make ?Double D?s? life a living nightmare.

?The Lowrider? Jesus Kruze VS. ?The Russian Wolf? Alexis Darevko

The next match saw two rivals go at it yet again. The night before, Darevko was victorious, pinning Kruze at the Sacramento 6 Drive In, evening the score after a loss he received at SWF Hangtown Showdown in June. On this night, Darevko and Kruze once again were ready to pull out all stops for a chance to move up the rankings in the SWF.

Before the match started senior referee Sparkey Ballard checked each men to insure that neither man was carrying any foreign objects. Jesus Kruze accused Ballard of ?racial profiling? and assumed the position for the check. After Ballard checked both men the match got under way.

The moment the bell sounded these two men began brawling around the ring. There is no question that these two men have nothing but hatred for each other. As the match continued each man did anything and everything necessary to win. Finally, Darevko had enough and he attempted to go after his chain. Ballard was able to stop him from doing so and confiscated it.

As Ballard turned his back, Kruze grabbed his patented hub cap. The crowd expected him to hit Darevko. However, to the shock of everyone, he handed the hub cap to Darevko. Darevko looked confused, and suddenly, as Ballard began to turn back around, Kruze fell to the ground holding his head. Ballard, thinking that Darevko had hit Kruze, immediately disqualified Darevko and awarded the bout to Kruze at the 10 minute mark.

FATAL FOURWAY FOR #1 CONTENDER?S SPOT

?The Mexican Werewolf? El Chupacabra vs. Kimo Kanhaola vs. Sheik Khan Abadi vs. The Wiseguy

The next match had a lot at stake. The winner of this match would get a shot at the SWF championship at the next event. It was only fitting that four of the best sports-entertainers on the west coast would be involved. As each of the four men entered the ringside area it was obvious that each of them was focused on the task at hand, and a shot at the most coveted prize in the SWF.

The bell rang and the carnage ensued. All four men were ready to do anything to get a shot at the SWF Heavyweight Championship. One man who was particularly fired up was El Chupacabra. Chupy felt as though he had something to prove after coming up short against Sheik Khan Abadi at the Sacramento 6 Drive-In. Meanwhile, Sheik Khan Abadi was riding a wave of momentum after the win the night before.

While these two men had a chance to preview each other?s moves before the big event, Kimo and Wiseguy were wildcards who were ready to do everything possible to prove themselves in the SWF. We are proud to say that all four of these men delivered one of the most exciting matches in SWF history.

The match got underway and all four men went at it. Each man placed their body on the line as they pulled out all stops. At different points, each man came close to winning the contest. It became clear very quickly that any of these four men could easily have been the #1 contender for the SWF championship.

Throughout the match each man took turns diving from the ring to the floor. All of them did everything they could, but in the end, BOTH Sheik Khan Abadi and El Chupacabra were able to get the pin at the exact same time at the 12 minute mark. The crowd was unsure what to do as both men took turns raising their own hands and lobbying the crowd. Amidst the confusion, SWF senior referee Sparkey Ballard had a decision to make. SWF announcer Johnny Johnson looked on intently waiting for Ballard to call the decision. Johnson looked shocked as he announced that both men had won the match and that both men were now the #1 contender for the SWF Heavyweight championship. How will this affect our next main event? Stay tuned to www.sacramentowrestling.com to find out.

THE FENGEL FAMILY

After this match the Fengel family took an opportunity to address the crowd. The Fengels, let by Kami Fengel Storz thanked the crowd for coming to support the cause. They then took a moment to tell those who didn?t know all about Seth and who he was.

For those of you who did not know Seth Fengel, you are truly at a loss. The man was one of a kind. A great friend, and a great man. He had a rare blood disease that caused him to spend a lot of time in Shriner?s Hospital. When he would be discharged later he would come right back. Not as a patient, but as a volunteer. He was truly a good man and he will be missed. RIP Seth Fengel.

?The Heartbeat of America? Johnny Plinko vs. ?Canada?s Favorite Son? Mike Rayne

?As we came back from intermission ?Canada?s favorite son? Mike Rayne walked through the curtain draped in the flag of the great white north. As he got in the ring, he started by calling everyone in the La Sierra Community Center ?hosers? and complaining about his loss in the International Warfare Ladder Match.

Mike Rayne was involved in the infamous International Warfare Ladder Match. Unfortunately for him, Rayne was injured after Jody Kristofferson delivered a hellacious spine buster through a ladder. As paramedics were taking Rayne out on a stretcher, Johnny Plinko took his spot in the match.

Rayne called out Plinko, challenging him to a match. Suddenly, ?Born in the U.S.A.? was heard throughout the community center. Plinko walked out sporting All American tights and a fanny pack. From there Johnny Plinko accepted the challenge.

Out of control is the only way to describe a match that saw a criss cross followed by a poke to the eye, a double duck under, followed by a double clothesline, a series of chops, a piece of broccoli and water spit all over the place. Finally, Rayne had Plinko right where he wanted him. He set up chairs outside the ring and prepared Plinko for a devastating finisher. However, it was Plinko who was able to shock the SWF faithful by pinning Rayne with a roll up at the 9 minute mark.

After his victory, Plinko celebrated with the crowd. He then had Ballard place the fanny pack back on him as if it was a championship belt. He also walked by the SWF merchandise table to push his own autographed photos.

SWF TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP ? SACTOWN STREET FIGHT

The Suburban Commandos (c) vs. Pink Mink Inc.

Here in the SWF we have established a tradition. Whenever there is a score to settle, we have the participants do it in an old fashioned Sactown Street Fight. After a disqualification win over Pink Mink Inc. at Clash at the Colonial and a tag team championship victory over an unsuspecting PMI at the Sacramento 6 Drive In, the Suburban Commandos granted Pink Mink Inc. a rematch. The rules in this street fight? There are no rules.

Pink Mink Inc. made their way to the ring to a chorus of boos.? Coming out in their trademark pink, they were dressed for the occasion, no tights, come as you are, no holds barred. As they reached the ring, the no alternate Pink Mink, Markus Mac grabbed the mic and ran down the crowd. He then told the Carmichael crowd that the SWF tag team championship was coming back to Pink Mink Inc.

Next, out from behind the curtain came the one day old Tag Team Champions, the Suburban Commandos. It did not take long for the action to get underway. The match started with steel chairs in the ring and more weapons were to come, including garbage cans, a baby stroller, a ski and a Tonka truck.

From there the action spilled out onto the floor and it did not take long for it to spill into the crowd. The crowd scattered as the Commandos chased Pink Mink Inc. all around the building. There were many near falls as D-Unit threw Rik Luxury into a support beam holding up the building. The match continued to escalate as they made their way back to the ring.

As they got back to the ring the action continued. The Commandos continued to dominate Pink Mink Inc throughout the match. However, no matter how hard they tried, they weren?t able to put Luxury and Carlos away.

It seemed like the Commandos had them reeling. Especially as they were able to put ?the Magnificent One? through the announcer?s table. The Commandos then had Luxury in the corner. It seemed as though the Commandos were finally on the way to another victory. However, as T-Rent went up to the top rope, Markus Mac sprang into action, crotching T-Rent on the turnbuckle and handcuffing him to the top rope.

While interference like this would normally be grounds for disqualification, in a Sactown Street Fight anything goes and therefore, this maneuver was 100% legal. T-Rent stood helpless as Pink Mink Inc. took it upon themselves to decimate D-Unit. After a brutal beat down, Luxury put a garbage can on D-Unit?s head and smashed it with a chair. Luxury then covered him for the three count at the 13 minute mark making Pink Mink Inc. the two time SWF tag team champions.

After the match Pink Mink Inc. took their time taunting the crowd as they went up the stage. Despite their loss, the Suburban Commandos got a standing ovation as they got up and left. From the looks on the Commandos? faces, it is clear that this feud is far from over.

SWF HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Dylan Drake (c) vs. ?Big Country? Jody Kristofferson

September 2 Remember saw three debuting wrestlers, an amazing four way match for the #1 contender?s spot, a match that involved broccoli and fanny packs and a vicious Street Fight. Then, to top it all off came the main event. Two of sports-entertainment?s biggest fan favorites going at it for the most coveted prize in the Sacramento Wrestling Federation. ?Big Country? entered the ringside area first and the crowd went wild. From there, the SWF Heavyweight Champion walked through the curtain to a barrage of cheers. Out came the winner of our silent auction, Dylan Storz, who got the opportunity to lead the Champion down the ramp to the ring. We?d like to thank Dylan Storz for his part in starting off this great match.

The bell rang and the match got underway. From the very beginning both men showed their technical prowess. The entire crowd and most of the SWF roster were hanging on every move as they watched on wondering who would be the man to lead the SWF into the future. These two men are clearly a couple of the best sports-entertainers the business has to offer. Each man seemed to have a counter for the other?s holds, and at points in the match it seemed like either man could walk away with the SWF gold. On multiple occasions senior referee Sparkey Ballard counted near falls. The crowd was split right down the middle as both men had their supporters in the crowd.

?

Unfortunately the match got cut short as ?Double D? Dave Dutra once again interfered in Kristofferson?s match. However, instead of attacking Kristofferson as he had on the previous evening, Dutra took it upon himself to attack the Champion Dylan Drake, causing a disqualification.

SWF referee Sparkey Ballard had no choice but to award the match to Dylan Drake by disqualification at the 14 minute mark. Kristofferson was furious as he chased Dutra from the ring. As Drake came to he was equally upset about the way he won.

At the end of the event, Kristofferson and Drake shook hands. These two fan favorites have a lot of respect for each other and there is no doubt that one day they will collide again.

Once again the SWF would like to thank the Fengel family for allowing us to be a part of this important event. To donate to the cause or to learn more about Seth visit his website at www.sethfengel.com
